Online Registration opens for the Willie Walters Wrestling Club 2024-2025 Mason Dixon Youth Wrestling League Season on 9/9 !!

I hope everyone had a great off-season! I just wanted to send out a quick note reminding everyone that our 2024-2025 MDWL season registration opens up on Monday 9/9/2024. Don’t wait to sign up, we cap our registration at 65 wrestlers! You can register by clicking on the registration tab on this website.

PLEASE READ THROUGH THE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!

Our first practice will be on Wednesday Oct 16, 2024 from 6-8pm in the wrestling room at James Wood Middle School, this practice is for everyone. The first practice will also serve as an open-mat and in-person registration event so bring your friends who might be interested in wrestling! This is a chance to try out the club and see if it might be a good fit for your wrestler.

After the open-mat we will have 3 weeks of combined practices (10/22, 10/23, 10/24, 10/28, 10/29, 10/30, 11/6, 11/7, 11/8). Before the week of 11/11 the coaching staff will split the wrestlers into 2 separate practice groups (Blue & Gold) based on their age/experience level. The Gold practice group will practice on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6-8pm. The Blue practice group will practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6-8pm.
